Hosted by the Christina Conservancy, DNREC, Anchor QEA, and Brightfield, Inc. a Technical Workshop for the Christina River and Brandywine Creek Sediment Remediation brought together experts from state, federal and local governments, nonprofit organizations, and businesses. This day-long workshop was an opportunity to share and celebrate successes cleaning up legacy pollution and bringing fish, wildlife, and recreation back to Wilmington’s rivers. It also sought to chart a course for making these rivers healthy and contamination-free over the next 10-15 years, through a new CBR4 (Christina & Brandywine River Restoration, Remediation and Resilience) initiative.
